Williams ‘The Getaway: High Speed II’ (1992)
Designed by Steve Ritchie as a sequel to the original ‘High Speed’

Updated to v1.0.1 - Fixes Traffic Signal and SC Sign lights.
Updated to v1.0.2-
Fixed some small graphical inconsistencies.
Added randomness to the left KickOut.
Slowed play down to better simulate the real table.
Other minor shtuff...
Updated to v1.0.3-
Optimized for VP9.0.3
Now uses ball decals, and proper nudging
Yellow post more accurately placed for game play, the ball usually hits it on the way down on a missed shot now
Fixed the transparency issue with the ramp-walls on the supercharger, also improved the metallic look of the supercharger loop ramp
Custom Instruction cards now available by pressing "C" while in-game

this kills pac dude's release! Great job, much better playability now with the speed slowed down, thanks again!
First, let me say that you did a fantastic job on this table, thanks for taking the time to recreate one of my favorite machines.
I have logged many hours on an actual High Speed II machine and I noticed one detail in your recreation that I think is incorrect. The bottom left support pin for the super charger ramp on the real machine was closer to the inside of the ramp. In cases where the ball went up the ramp a little and then came back down, the pin would kick the ball toward the right side triangular bumper above the right flipper, instead of just dumping the ball straight down the drain. I don't know if this is something you can fix or are interested in fixing but if you can it will enhance the realism and playability. I can send a picture pointing to the areas I mention if that helps clarify things, just let me know where to send it.

hey great table! one of my favs in 'real life'! Well done!
The play on this table is outstanding but there is a large green and black rectangle covering half of the triangular raceway. How do I get rid of it? I open in VP9 and use the L5 rom. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
noticed something with this program and wonder if anyone else has this same situation. during gameplay if you engage both flippers at the same time,the cards at the bottom that say high speed and the card that lists the cost per game disappear and are replaced.I know the card with the price per game disappears and a free play card appears.I dont remember what the other side is replaced with This only happens when both flippers are engaged at the same time. when they are released,it goes back to normal
I've spent more time on this table than any others and it's my favorite Pin ever.
This is a great recreation and I've definitely enjoyed having it. You're really captured the look, feel and experience of playing the actual coin-op

First time i saw the Kickback shoot the ball into the tunnel though, i knew i was in for a treat.
